Hi list,

I've just heard of the intent to sell the .org domain registry to a
private equity firm.  The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) has put
out a call for action[1] and I've already add my own name to the list of
signatories.

If you oppose this move, please consider signing in a personal capacity,
like I already did.

The SANE Project itself is an affected organization to because we use
the sane-project.org domain.  I've submitted an issue[2] to poll the
project members on whether we should add the SANE Project to the list or
not.  Even if you're not a project member, you can express your approval
or disapproval via the thumbs up/down
