The only Brother devices that are listed on the SANE Project's website
come from *external* backends, nothing that the SANE Project is involved
in.  Suggest you try Brother's driver download site.  You might find a
*non-free* backend there.  Afraid we won't be able to help you with any
issues you run into, though.
