Hi,

I had a long journey to make my HP printer work, see here:
https://forum.ubuntuusers.de/post/9107213/ (German)

The solution was to deaktive a sane related uvdev rule
/lib/udev/rules.d/99-saned.rules:
# $Id: 99-saned.rules 218 2016-02-19 18:48:21Z wimalopaan $
#
#  scanbd - KMUX scanner button daemon

#

# change group to saned for sane devices
# needed for saned to get scanner access

ENV{libsane_matched}=="yes", GROUP="saned"

What is the use of this rule?
What can break, if I disable it?
(sudo mv /lib/udev/rules.d/99-saned.rules
/lib/udev/rules.d/99-saned.rules.bak)
