If you need the more recent scanner driver from git, you can use my
other PPA: https://launchpad.net/~rolfbensch/+archive/ubuntu/sane-git.

Adding this PPA to your system

You can update your system with unsupported packages from this
untrusted PPA by adding ppa:rolfbensch/sane-release to your system's
Software Sources. (Read about installing)

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:rolfbensch/sane-release
sudo apt-get update
