Using saned/net backend allows you to remotely connect to a local
scanner using the SANE net protocol.
Basically, the saned daemon advertises local scanners (say through USB)
and permits the special "net" backend to connect in from other machines
on the network as though it were local.
Could we see the output of this?
SANE_DEBUG_FUJITSU=50 SANE_DEBUG_SANEI_CONFIG=10 scanimage -L
