[sane-devel] Ubuntu PPA b0rked?

Okay, I got it resolved.  The Plustek OpticSlim M12 needed some
firmware (which wasn't apparent until I poked around on a terminal
today).

Unfortunately, it has a fatal design flaw in my eye:  It only handles
letter-size paper, and I got 9" by 12" sketchbook sheets! :p

That said, time to open up a new thread here...
