This (and the output below) implies that `scanimage` _is_ detecting your
scanner as supported by SANE.

Can you run: scanimage -d pixma:04A91158 --format=jpeg -o image.jpeg

...and see if this initiates a scan, and produces a meaningful image in
"image.jpeg" in the current working directory?
