Hi Allan, here the output from this, SANE_DEBUG_DLL=4 xsane 2&gt;dll.log<br>
I looked at it quickly and it is not looking at the
"/usr/local/lib/sane" even after executing ldconfig.<br>
The same either as root or normal user.<br>

dll.log should show which libraries it is loading.
