Hello everybody,<BR>

I need some help getting this to work,<BR>
<BR>
I have a BenQ 5000 device, I am using archlinux kernel26 2.6.30.1-1 and sane 1.0.20-3<BR>
<BR>
I have added the firmware to /usr/share/sane/snapscan/<BR>
and added this line "firmware /usr/share/sane/snapscan/20F8V116.bin" to /etc/sane.d/snapscan.conf<BR>
<BR>
and <BR>
$ scanimage -L<BR>
device `snapscan:libusb:002:004' is a Acer FlatbedScanner42 flatbed scanner<BR>
<BR>
$ lsusb<BR>

$ scanimage (the scanner makes some sound and flashes some light here, but it doesn't scan anything)<BR>
scanimage: sane_start: Error during device I/O<BR>
User defined signal 1<BR>

Can anybody provide some help please?<BR>
