<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" ><tr><td valign="top" style="font: inherit;"><div id="yiv1390934253">Hiyas. This is perplexing. sane-find-scanner sees my scanner ok:<br><br>found USB scanner (vendor=0x04b8, product=0x0131) at libusb:001:002<br><br>scanimage -L&nbsp; does not.<br><br>I got the latest epkowa/iscan src from avasys and it installed no prob. Editted /etc/sane.d/dll.conf to include epkowa,&nbsp; editted epkowa.conf to specify vendor/device ID and so on.<br><br>Strace on scanimage -L shows up an error which doesn't make sense to me:<br><br>open("/dev/bus/usb/002/013", O_RDWR)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; = 3<br>ioctl(3, USBDEVFS_IOCTL, 0xbfece8a0)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; = -1 ENOTTY (Inappropriate ioctl for device)<br><br>Tried switching usb ports but same basic result. <br><br>Any clues appreciated.<br><br><br><br></div></td></tr></table>
