Hi,

I have a HP Pavilion dv4 64-bit laptop running Ubuntu 11.04. I am
trying to use the Xsane image scanning program to scan to .pdf color
images from my HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 wireless A909g. I am doing
this via a wireless connection to my printer/scanner combo unit.
The printer works fine. But for some reason the scanner scans, but
only a thin vertical sliver the length of the scanned image appears
as output. I am relatively new to scanning in Ubuntu, so I am
looking for some guidance troubleshooting this. Thanks for any
input.
