<html><body><div style="color:#000; background-color:#fff; font-family:garamond, new york, times, serif;font-size:14pt"><div>With Ubuntu 12.04-X64, I am unable to obtain a driver for the HP 5590 scanner. All attempts at web searches for help have failed.</div><div>Using Opensuse 12.3-X64, Simple scan works fine. The output from the scanner is very good.  Is there some way to get the scanner to work in Ubuntu? I really like the Ubuntu release. It was fantastic to find the exfat driver that came out for flash drives.</div></div></body></html>
