Hello,
if you look at the white_sading.pnm, you can see an over exposed
area that matches the one you're seeing on final scans. I have to find
what is going on.
Is there a chance you can run usbsniff or whireshark to records
windows drive
r
activity during a scan?

I can't say for now. Currently the backend doesn't tune gain and
offset on the analog frontend, maybe it is needed now, this is why a
log would be great.<br>
Since you have good quality scans with windows driver, there is
something to improve in the genesys backend.<br>
