Since I didn't hear anything back from either libselinux or
util-linux maintainers, I assume they're in agreement. I'm hence
proceeding with this plan. I've opened bugs against util-linux
and libselinux for the udebs:
libselinux: https://bugs.debian.org/835503
util-linux: https://bugs.debian.org/835504
And I have committed a workaround for open-iscsi to git
packaging that disables libmount temporarily for the udeb packages,
which I'll upload soon:
https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-iscsi/open-iscsi.git/commit/?id=f5d5cbb8fa2772dcd7db0be2a7ebc72a108fbd96
(I've tested both variants of the binaries on a regular system.)
Regards,
Christian
