[Soc-coordination] MTD embedded onboard flash partitioning and installation, report, week 6

Hi!

Things concerning GSoC I have done the previous two weeks:
* Thought a lot.
* Figured out a master plan on how to fulfill the full-time goal
  (being able to partition, and install Debian onto, MTD flash).
  + Drawings on paper and writing in text files summarizing,
    designing, and exemplifying flows and user interface.
* Understood that d-i/partman is tightly integrated with Parted.
* Decided that Parted needs to be augmented to support MTD
  and UBI.
* Cloned Parted upstream repository and read code base and
  developer docs.
* A lot of tries and attempts to build Parted, yet without
  success. :-(

I have given my master thesis some attention as well. This
means I have worked somewhere near half-time with GSoC.

Next week I will be interrailing in Europe, having a weeks long
wished-for holiday.

The interrail tour will finish in Cáceres, Spain. Yes, that's right,
I will attend DebConf9. See you there!
