This sounds like specific packaging or totally upstream work. This is
outside the scope of GSoC at Debian.
I'm not familiar with SNMP related packages in Debian. There's apparently a
team about that: Net-SNMP Packaging Team <
pkg-net-snmp-devel at lists.alioth.debian.org>. Maybe ask them for suggestions
on what can be done as a GSoC project at Debian.
