There will only be one student working on each project. If Debian gets
accepted to GSoC, then students can create an application at [0]
during the student application period. After the application period
ends, the applications are evaluated and the student that gets to work
on each project is chosen. Since I was just involved as a student, I
don't know how the selection works. I think you at least have some say
in which student is selected for your project. One of the Debian GSoC
administrators would be able to describe that process better.
