In the (unlikely[0]) event that someone starts surfraw without first creating a
config *and* they don't have one of the graphical browsers installed that are
listed in configure.in, they will receive this error message:
/usr/bin/surfraw: line 487: http://www.google.com/search?q=foo&num=30: No such
file or directory
There are a couple of ways that this could be addressed: one, continue to add to
the list in configure.in, which is already reasonably long and caters to most
mainstream browsers or, two, change the default conf at /etc/xdg/surfraw/conf
thus:
-def SURFRAW_graphical_browser firefox
+def SURFRAW_graphical_browser "${BROWSER:-firefox}"
Which narrows the field for those that browse outside the standard list, and are
therefore probably more likely to have set the environment variable.
Comments?
Happy holidays to all the raw surfers!

0. Likely enough that there is an entry on the Arch Wiki:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Surfraw#.2Fusr.2Fbin.2Fsurfraw:_line_487:_.3Curl.3E:_No_such_file_or_directory
