westlake

Package: syslog-ng
Version: 3.3.5-4
Severity: normal
This particular feature is a main contributing factor why syslog-ng was
supported in design, but this doesn't seem to work in the edition
released in debian.
output:
syslog-ng --syntax-only
Error parsing afsocket, syntax error, unexpected KW_IP, expecting
LL_IDENTIFIER or LL_STRING in /etc/syslog-ng/syslog-ng.conf at line 31,
column 9:
syslog( ip(1.1.1.1) port(601) transport("tcp") );
the legacy options of using "udp()" and "tcp()" work, but the newer
messaging with syslog() doesn't.
