Huh?  Is the parser mbox parser in python changing the body?????
I'd call this a bug which needs to be fixed!

BTW, I talked to a video team member who was checking our record and he
told me that counting lines of a body might not be helpful in any case.
There are MUAs that do not cut a line after 80 characters but are
creating reeeeeeeellllllly long lines.  Counting words would solve this.

I'm not sure how big this influence might finally be - but there is
probably some truth in it - and it would also solve your formatting
problem.
