We have the list of the Alioth users :-)

SSH into Alioth and browse to /home/users/ and we have the list! So we
get the list of users from there and then enter only their information
in the database. Good enough for what you wanted I guess? This should
take of the upstream problem.

I messed around with git a lot but couldn't somehow make sense. Then I
thought about this simple hack and it worked!
