I do not really see in how far this is neccessary because IMHO just
testing updatenames.py with a *filled* database which just shows the
problematic names would be a more reasonable testbed instead of filling
it from scratch - but by all means, yes you can delete the database for
sure.  We are not (yet) in production mode.
