I really wonder why this is happening. Our write directory on vasks:
'/srv/home/groups/teammetrics/':

    drwxrwsr-x 6 scm-gforge teammetrics 4096 Oct  8 15:23 .

And:

    teammetrics:x:110628:showard,tille,sukhbir-guest

Also, I am not facing this issue. Can you please verify everything on
your end just to be sure?
