Currently I am working on the API part of the application. I have
defined some API endpoints and the associated actions. I have pushed
some code to 'web-devel' branch.

I am following the best practices as put forth by apigee, one of the
industry leaders in API design. The document in available here[1].

The API is not complete but I am actively working on it and it should
be functional in some time. I was waiting for some substantial output
to update this thread. Please have a look. Thank you.
