I am fine with this analysis, but it seems most recent (Ubuntu?) work
has been done in the the git repro in the a11y realm [0]. Maybe somebody
(Samuel?) could move the repro to the tts location? Until then, I like
to tag this orphan bug of speech-dispatcher into a ITA, but I don't
object at all to the tts team taking it over. But because dotconf 1.3 is
in experimental now, I like to try to get speech-dispatcher 0.8 running
in Debian/experimental as well. If I understand correctly, several
dependent packages need to be fixed [1]. Seems like a transition slot
for that is warranted as well.
