I admit this has slipped through my attention - sorry about this.

I do not really want to influence any decision of the Debian TTS Team. You
might have your reasons. However, as I previously showed by this query:

udd=> select distinct source, maintainer, vcs_url from sources where release = 'sid' and source like '%festvox%' order by source;
        source | maintainer | vcs_url

its a mix of Salsa and dgit which is confusing and I agree with you in
maintaining all packages the same way.

Just for my personal understanding (which might be wrong):
git.dgit.debian.org was invented to have some Git repository for every
Debian package no matter whether its maintained in Git or not. It was
not invented to replace Salsa since dgit can perfectly use Salsa. I was
even salvaging the psutils package from Ian to Salsa and he was
perfectly happy about this not insisting in using git.dgit.debian.org
just asking me to upload the Salsa hosted package using dgit (which I
did).

The advantages for using Salsa are that many teams in Debian are
maintaining their team space there in some transparent way and
permissions for team members can be easily maintained.

I'd be happy to learn that there are some advantages in
git.dgit.debian.org which I'm not aware about.

Kind regards
   Andreas.
