[Tux4kids-discuss] GSoC 2016

[Raunaq Abhyankar]

Dear developers,
Hi! Congrats for being selected as a mentor organization! I'm Raunaq
Abhyankar from Mumbai, India. I'm a Third Year Computer Engg student at
Mumbai University.

I really liked all the project ideas for Gsoc 2016.
My thoughts on a couple of them:-
1. Visual Learning
This can be done using Google maps api and can be made interactive so that
user could learn geography (countries, capitals, monuments) through a game.
A quiz can also be included.

2.Tux Mind Math
I would love to contribute to this as I myself have studied Vedic maths and
abacus and enjoy teaching maths to kids. This too can be very interactive
and interesting.

I would love to work on other ideas too.

I have experience with Python,C,C++,Java, web technologies,Android,Qt and
MySQL. And I would love to learn anything new aswell!

I have experience with open source organizations and their work philosophy
having contributed to Mozilla already.

If you could help me get started and assign bugs/tasks and give pointers
and suggestions regarding the project topics then it would be great! :)
