no, there is only debian/patches/130_fix_german_keyboard-lst.patch left, which 
is fixed in trunk now too and contains some corrections for german keyboards.

Build-Depends: debhelper (>=5.0.42), libsdl-mixer1.2-dev, libsdl-image1.2-dev, 
libsdl1.2-dev, libsdl-ttf2.0-dev, libsdl-pango-dev, quilt

also looks good to me.

        
CFLAGS="$(CFLAGS)" ./configure --host=$(DEB_HOST_GNU_TYPE) --build=$(DEB_BUILD_GNU_TYPE) --prefix=/usr --mandir=\$${prefix}/share/man --infodir=\$${prefix}/share/info --bindir=\$${prefix}/games

is how configure is called and then its just make ; make install

Did you also try to rebuild from the Debian tarball and the result was fine?
