Hi Brandon,<br><br>

<div dir="ltr">Hey, I would like to create some lesson files for tuxtype but I (a) can&#39;t figure out how to actually take input, since the lesson_1.xml file doesn&#39;t seem to take any specific input, the &lt;prac&gt; element doesn&#39;t seem to actually do anything, etc. Anywhere i can look for documentation or anybody willing to help a noob?</div>

<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>The &quot;Lessons&quot; xml activity was created by folks no longer involved with the project, and in all honesty, I don&#39;t think anyone has a very detailed understanding of how it works - at least I don&#39;t.&nbsp; I think that a bunch of new lessons were created for the Indic languages by Mobin Mohan <a href="mailto:mobinmohan@gmail.com">mobinmohan@gmail.com</a> for GSoC - he may have the best insights.&nbsp; I would suggest studying the existing lessons and making incremental modifications.</div>

<div dir="ltr">And, also, (b) have you already created several since version 1.5.15? (my version) I don&#39;t see any mention of new lessons on the news page, but I don&#39;t particularly want to duplicate work :)</div></blockquote>

<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>At least for English, there aren&#39;t any new ones.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>The &quot;Lessons&quot; activity is probably the single most visible example of something that needs further work to make it look like a finished product.&nbsp; I&#39;m currently adapting all of TuxType to support fullscreen mode at native resolution, and right now I&#39;m getting &quot;Practice&quot; to draw correctly.&nbsp; After that I&#39;ll look at &quot;Lessons&quot;, then probably release <a href="http://1.6.0.">1.6.0.</a></div>

<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>The latest stable release of TuxType at <a href="http://www.tux4kids.com">www.tux4kids.com</a> is <a href="http://1.5.17.">1.5.17.</a></div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>We would greatly welcome more &quot;content&quot;, whether xml lessons, word lists, or artwork for the menu buttons, etc.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Sorry I don&#39;t have any more specific recs.</div>
