Hi,

i'm Ronny Pfannschmidt a  CS student and one of the developers of the
pida ide.

Im interested in the vcs-pkg project, cause the ide needs a reasonably
sane abstraction for vcs's and the vcs-pkg project is aiming for
discussing/implementing that.

I already started a simple implementation in python named anyvc that
does simple workdir ops for various vcs's + push/pull for hg.
Its available at http://www.bitbucket.org/RonnyPfannschmidt/anyvc/ .

I yet have to find a good way to handle repo/workdir creation by
clone/checkout.
