This is a per-user setting in Mailman.

Because the topgit branches you used to create the stable package
cannot be used anymore to create the patches that went into the
stable package. You can return to the stable version of ./debian and
probably upstream, but with the current topgit, you can then only
apply the most recent topic branch patches, which may or may not
apply or be applicable.
If you don't see what I mean, recreate topgit 0.2, which was in the
archive but isn't anymore, without using the build branch.
