Right. Just let's go back to which problem we originally want to
solve:
a) cleanup/fix upstream's mess to produce production-grade releases.
b) create automatically installable (distro-)packages from releases.
See my last mail (response to Manoj): part a) are the QM-branches,
and b) the distro branches (for several distros, eg. Gentoo, probably
not needed at all).
