Is trarball packaged wrong ?

Hello dear mailing list participants,
I downloaded the minicom version 2.1
and while untarring the package  I got 
following errors:
tar: minicom-2.1/aux/config.guess: Cannot open: No such file or directory
minicom-2.1/aux/config.sub
tar: minicom-2.1/aux/config.sub: Cannot open: No such file or directory
minicom-2.1/aux/install-sh
tar: minicom-2.1/aux/install-sh: Cannot open: No such file or directory
minicom-2.1/aux/missing
tar: minicom-2.1/aux/missing: Cannot open: No such file or directory
minicom-2.1/aux/mkinstalldirs
tar: minicom-2.1/aux/mkinstalldirs: Cannot open: No such file or directory
I do not so much care about .cvsignore or missing but I do about other
files. Coujld you explain to me what happened and where I can get these
files?
