We used to update xul-ext-* packages to their latest upstream release
(backporting the package from Sid) via point releases when they were
broken by an Iceweasel or Icedove security update.

The release team used to prefer having packages fixed than having them
unusable.

If one package is ready, I’d suggest to open a s-u request giving a bit
of context, that will probably make it easier to knew what to do with
other extensions.

mozilla-devscripts should probably be one of the first package we want
to see updated in stable (until that, it will probably be necessary to
upload the binary package built by the developer, since buildd won’t be
able to see it before the following point release…).

Regards

David
