Please note that a lot of the packaging work already exist in Ubuntu
Touch and Droidian land, for Ubuntu Touch, here some links:
https://gitlab.com/ubports/development/core/packaging/libhybris
https://gitlab.com/ubports/development/core/hybris-support/android-headers
And more (binder plugins, drivers, etc.):
https://gitlab.com/ubports/development/core/hybris-support
Esp. note that patches that Ubuntu Touch ships in libhybris:
https://gitlab.com/ubports/development/core/packaging/libhybris/-/tree/ubports/latest/debian/patches?ref_type=heads
IMHO, I would use libhybris packaging from UBports as a starting point.
