    mathematics-dev: fenics, dolfin, ffc
    
    fenics is the suite of tools for automated solution of partial
    differential equations
    
    dolfin is the front-end interface used by applications.
    
    ffc may potential be useful separately from dolfin,
    e.g. for firedrake applications
