Thank you all for the reply,

Meanwhile the project Amara seems to suit me, I haven't test subtitles 
synchronization yet but so far it's at least pretty to the eye and easy 
to use.

Just for curiosity, I was able to build aegisub successfully  on testing 
:P , but not going to use it ..
