Dear Steve,
thank you for the bug report. However, I would be not very happy to
apply the patches: They imply that I have to keep the test conditions
manually in sync with the availability of the test requirements for each
architecture.
IMO the test framework should just not run a specific test where the
(explicit) conditions are not solvable, and not count this as error.
Otherwise every maintainer had to check for the availability of the test
dependencies on (potentially) all platforms, which does not sound useful
and scalable to me.
What do you think?
