I guess a bug (ideally with patch...) to Source Package: texlive-lang should be
filed.

No it's not: 17 languages, including some with "interesting" native scripts.

Hrm, maybe when tranlating to Malayalam we should start with some document with
a somewhat more modern build engine.  People are migrating to reStructuredText
these days.  I'd guess the translation infrastructure for that is easier to set
up.

I also saw that https://www.debian.org/social_contract is not tranlated to
Malayalam yet.  It is translated in 30 languages.  Once that's translated, we
could maybe have a Malayalam version of
https://debian.pages.debian.net/debian-flyers/files/social_contract_fr.pdf .
