[Debian-in-workers] Re: Participation in LinuxAsia 2006 (SN)

This is definitely a good proposal. It would be wise to systematically plan
the participation with the individuals and resources identified. To begin
with, can we have lead person(s) who reside in New Delhi, to volunteer to
take the lead in organizing the participation? This makes matters easier.
Subsequently, if we could list the resources we need, (most of the
brainstorming could also be done in a separate private group without
bothering others who may not be interested in the organization part) we can
move forward.

I am based in Bangalore. I am willing to guide the team through in the
planning, and help arrange some resources. But, it may not be possible for
me to visit New Delhi during Linux Asia, even though I would love to. If
we have a critical mass of interested members, we can start the planning.
Participation in a show of this kind can be tiring out sometimes. Those
volunteer to be in the stall should therefore be considering this. May be
just one person in the stall at any point of time would be good enough, with
a second person overlapping some hours and continuing. If we can find
enough people who live in Delhi, the planning could be easier. We could
also seek help from some of the serious Linux users in the area.

Warm regards,
