I really like the idea (even if I will not join because of a lack of
competence in this field).  Especially I like the idea to lock the doors
until some results are reached (don't forget to lock the windows ;-)).
Two honest remarks:
  - we probably should actively look for gifted programmers who are
    really obligated to the topic and (at least for the moment) are
    not occupied with RL issues
  - we also should definitely contact derivatives about this to find
    synergies
