Hi Ognyan,
thanks for your bug report. Before I upload the package with the
requested option could you please test it whether the problem is solved.
I made my build available at
http://people.debian.org/~tille/packages/abyss/
Please download the *.deb and install it manually via `dpkg -i *.deb`
and report here whether it works for you.
