actually I observed the problem while testing biomaj-watcher_1.2.1-1 in
contrib, but the failure was already while installing its dependencies.

I have
Setting up ca-certificates-java (20130815) ...
done.
Setting up openjdk-7-jre-headless:i386 (7u25-2.3.12-4) ...
update-alternatives: using
/usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk-i386/jre/bin/java to provide /usr/bin/java
(java) in auto mode
***after*** the biomaj failure - so there was no java, yet.
Looks like dependencies are missing somewhere.

PS: the logfile contains the full piuparts command line I used, look at
the top.
