Thanks again. I tried to quickly hide problem under the carpet with -DNDEBUG;
iut prevented the crash but uncovered more bugs.
I already opened an issue on the problem of migrating to wx3.0 on Upstream's
website at Google Code. I see that he is now active on GitHub with other
projects. I will ping him directly this time.
