please note that they look similar but indeed different. The pll code I included is not from the master pll branch, but from my branch (portable_pll; I am also a member of PLL team), which is not merged back into the master PLL yet. Thus if you package it separately now, I don’t really know if iqtree runs the same or not…
so the safe solution is still to keep it like this. I will let you know once we are able to merge, so that both PLL copies are compatible...
