I guess that works. Although now the debian/3.23+dfsg-2 tag was not
pointing to a commit on the master branch (it was pointing to
5f5327b55fecdd5178ea315f598bfb69871c0c12). I re-created this tag.

There was also a debian/3.23_dfsg-3 that I mistakenly deleted because I
thought there was no such release (~ changed to + later on).

So Andreas, you should delete this local tag before pulling/pushing:

  git tag -d debian/3.23+dfsg-2
  git pull
  git push --tags # which will restore the tag I mistakenly deleted


Maybe the changes there are worth uploading now, since the patches there
probably won't be valid for the next release.
