Hi,
I've not done any Debian builds, but have a lot of experience with RPM
and building products and dependencies there, so I expect I can
translate my packaging knowledge there.
I've done a lot of cross platform work (Win, Mac, Linux, Embedded), know
a fair number of languages and tools and led the build & platform team @
IBM.

Additionally I took Biology, Genetics to college level, and try to stay
up to date.
I'm currently unemployed and would love to get more Bioinformatics
related stuff under my belt. :)
Projects listed from https://blends.debian.org/med/tasks/covid-19 that
look interesting to me are discosnp, and possibly streamlit and
nextstrain-ncov, but I don't know what priorities are.
I'd appreciate suggestions as to how best to plug in and where to help.
I'm in Vancouver BC, Canada on PST.
I have a debian buster machine, as well as a variety of other machines
here, what is the expected default target for the biohackathon work?
Cheers,
TJ Snider
