Very cool. We could use every helping hand!

The task is currently not (yet) properly curated but we are working on
it. I admit streamlit seems to be a really valuable candidate.
Nextstrain-ncov needs auspice to be packaged first which means packaging
some extra JS libraries.

So if you want to tackle streamlit that would be cool. Note that the
starting effort I did[1] is not more than just injecting the metadata
we need at the tasks page you quoted above. I think it needs checking
first whether all preconditions are avialable. Communication wise I
recommend subscribing the Debian Med mailing list

    https://lists.debian.org/debian-med

I also recommend reading the Debian Med policy

    https://med-team.pages.debian.net/policy/

which explains how to use our development platform salsa.debian.org.
While the sprint is running also our IRC channel #debian-med is settled
and you can ask there for more direct communication.

Also feel free to join our Jitsi meeting as announced on the hackathon Wiki

Feel free to ping me about more information.

Buster is fine. We are building package in a clean chroot environment
(as explained in Debian Med policy I linked above) so the actual Debian
(or derivative) does not matter much.

Thanks a lot for your attempt to help. It is really appreciated.

Kind regards

      Andreas.
