May be you are not comfortable with the freeze policy.  We are currently
in deep freeze.  This means:
  * no new upstream versions
  * only minimum fixes for release critical bugs
  * uploads to unstable with other changes are discouraged to enable
    small changes uploads for potential RC bugs

There are three options:

  1. I can upload your changes to experimental - but this is probably
     not really what you want.
  2. We can simply wait to fix this issue until Debian 11 is released
     and your changes are targeting to the next release
  3. The severity of the VRRender bug will be bumped to serious (which
     is release critical.  Than we need to revert the upstream version
     bump and apply only the said bug.

I have no idea what option you and the bug reporter might prefer.
