Yes, but this should go a proper library transition, see this[1]
since SONAME is changing, I do not expect no-ABI breakeages, so this should go properly coordinated -- and this should go to NEW targetting experimental.

Meanwhile, we really need to get 1.0.1-4 in so as to avoid more delay.
If you agree with me, please do consider fixing the copyright, upload again to new, and ping Thorsten again to accept this.
